The M.S. timeline is typically 18–24 months. The Master of Science degree requires a minimum of 24 graded credit hours of course work and 6 credits of MS thesis. The M.S. student pays tuition and fees, which might be offset by partial teaching or research assistantships if available. Graduates typically pursue careers in industry or continue their research endeavors in a Ph.D. program.
