Professor, School of MedicineDr. Park is the associate director of the Foot and Ankle Fellowship at UVA and is the team foot and ankle surgeon for UVA Athletics. His research interests include injury biomechanics, sports-related injuries to the foot and ankle, tendon reconstruction, ankle replacement, bone grafting and biomechanical properties of orthopedic implants.

Professor of Biology and Biomedical Engineering Center Director-WM Keck Center for Cellular ImagingDr. Periasamy is a global authority in advanced microscopy, specializing in molecular imaging in living cells and tissues. He designs optical methods to study protein interactions, monitor cancer cell/tissue parameters, and pioneered fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) development.
