Ben Koerber
Ben earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Grove City College in May of 2019. An athlete from a young age, he became interested in the biomechanics of sports and especially sports injuries. That interest led him to pursue a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia’s Center for Applied Biomechanics. Ben is currently researching total ankle replacement through both experimental and computational means in order to improve design and patient comfort post-procedure.
