Ayush Mehta
Ayush Mehta is a PhD student at the University of Virginia Center for Applied Biomechanics. After receiving his B.Tech. in mechatronics engineering from Manipal University, Dubai, Ayush worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) for Emirates Airlines. He then graduated from Kettering University, Michigan with a Master’s in Mobility Systems, where he led the university’s functional safety team at SEA Autodrive for a duration of two years. In his PhD research, Ayush is interested in automotive biomechanics, injury prevention and automotive restraint systems.
